The one piece buckle is solid cast brass. It is copied from the original, circa 1861-1865, with particular attention to detail. This style was worn by Confederate soldiers. The 'standard' style frame buckle refers to the class of Confederate frame buckles made with integral raised hooks and a flat back.

This buckle will fit a 2" wide belt.
