The Atlanta Depot Shell Jacket was worn mid to late war in the Western Theater. It is a basic grey shell jacket without branch of service colors. The distinguishing feature of this jacket is that the front edge of the jacket on the left side aligns with the edge of the collar, resulting in the buttons aligning off-center of the body.

This CS Atlanta Depot Shell Jacket is made of Grey Jean Wool. This jacket features HAND STITCHED Button Holes, Front, Hem, Sleeve Hem, Collar, and Interior Pocket. It has a 6 piece body, 1 piece sleeves, features a 6 Button Front of CSA Buttons, has 2 inside pockets, and is lined in a cotton lining. The back hem of the jacket is pointed.
