This rifled musket , with the lock marking "1861 Springfield" and an eagle, was the principal infantry arm of the civil war. Produced in tremendous numbers by the Union and captured by the Confederacy, this is the arm that most soldiers on both sides carried. A handsome, durable and accurate rifle, the model 1861 was the most widely produced American military long arm to that time. During the Civil War over 1,5000,000 of the 1861 pattern rifle muskets were produced by the Springfield National Armory and 2 private Contractors.

1861 Springfield Rifle Musket by Armi Sport of Italy, the ultimate in fine shooting military muzzle loaders. The one-piece barrel is forged steel,. and the one-piece stock is oil-finished walnut. Features a swelled ramrod, like the original muskets. The .58 caliber musket  is 56" overall and the barrel is 40" in length.

Originally manufactured bu the Richmond Armory in Richmond, Virginia from 1861 - 1865, the CS Richmond Musket was noted for its accuracy.  This model was produced in larger numbers than any other Confederate long arm and is a direct copy of the US Model 1855 with the exception of eliminating the Maynard priming system for the lock.

This musket features a one-piece barrel of forged steel with "VP" and an eagle head stamped to the left of the breech. Markings on the lock are "1862" to the left of the hammer and "CS RICHMOND, VA" to the right of the hammer. Caliber is .58 with a one piece oil-finished walnut stock, accented with brass trigger guard,  nose cap and butt plate. The musket feature military-style sights. The overal length is 56" and the barrel is 40".

Thew well-balanced 2-band Enfield Musket saw extensive service during the Civil War. The British Enfield Rifle Muskets were purchased in large numbers and used by both sides.

This excellent replica features an oil-finished walnut stock, case-hardened percussion lock, and correct period screws. This piece has a  blued steel barrel and bands, brass butt plate and trigger guard. The .58 caliber musket feature military-style sights and is 49" overall with a 33" barrel.

This musket saw service by both the Union and Confederate troops during the Civil War. The British Enfield Rifle Muskets were purchased in large numbers.

This Enfield replica has all the features of the original, including a one-piece, oil-finished stock, blue barrel, original-style barrel bands, and brass nose cap. The percussion lock has a V-style mainspring. This piece has a blued steel barrel and bands, brass butt plate and trigger guard.  The .58 caliber musket feature military-style sights and is 55" overall with a 39" barrel.

The Remington Model 1863 Zouave was a favorite of soldiers during the Civil War and was recognized by experts as one of the better made long arms of the era.

This accurate replica features a blue barrel and brass trigger guard, patch box and barrel bands. The case hardened lock is marked "US" with an eagle. The .58 caliber musket is 49" overall and the barrel is 33" in length.

The 1858 Revoving Carbine was one of the first muzzle-loading revolving carbine. This model was known for its easy handling and relaibility. About 3,000 models were produced from 1866 - 1879. 

This .44 caliber carbine features a walnut stock and an adjustable sight. It has a tapered 18" steel barrel and brass trigger guard.

This Confederate carbine is a replica of the 1861 Richmond Armory Carbine. These carbines were originally assembled from machinery and parts captured at the Harper's Ferry Arsenal and then moved to Richmond.

The .50 caliber percussion Kentucky rifle is one of the most popular American long guns. This rifle, made by Peredsoli, features a brass butt plate, trigger guard, large patch box, side plate thimbles, and nose cap. The one piece stock is oil-finished walnut and the lock plate is case hardened. The barrel has a blue finish and the bore is rifled with 8 grooves. The rifle has a brass blade front sight and steel, open rear sight. The overall length is 51 3/16" and the barrel is 35 9/16".
