Tacos have their roots in early Spanish/Mexican cooking from several centuries ago.  This recipe is for a vintage seasoning used in tacos.  Ground meat was not used. Finley diced meat were prepared for this dish.  Meats varied from Beef, Pork, and Chicken to domesticated livestock and wild game.

Ingredients: Chili Powder, Paprika, Cumin, Garlic Powder, Diced Onion, Mexican Oregano, Cayenne Pepper

The spices in this recipe were in common use during this time period (early in the mid-19th century).
