This black painted tin and glass lantern has a sliding glass panel to insert the candle and a wire carrying handle. It has been "weathered" for an authenic look.

The lantern measures 4 1/2" wide by 1 3/4" deep by 6 1/2" tall, not including the wire handle. The handle measures 10".  

To keep the metal from getting too hot and melting the lead solder, cut the candle into thirds or use a smaller 2" candle.
