The M1895 Officer Fatigue Blouse (or Undress Blouse) was adopted for US officers in 1895 and was used until the 1930's. While modeled after the 1892 Blouse, the 1895 Blouse omitted the chest and sleeve braids. This C&C Sutlery Officer Fatigue Blouse is made of dark blue wool with black mohair trim. The coat is lined in black cotton lining and muslin lining in the sleeves.

The J.E.B. Stuart Sword Hanger USA Made. Sword hangers became a standard cavalry issue throughout the Civil and Indian Wars, up to 1900. Prior to the onset of the Civil War, J.E.B. Stuart did not like the design of the sword hangers used at that time, so he designed and patented his own style of hanger. His device enabled the cavalryman to remove the sword, scabbard, and belt slings entirely without unhooking the scabbard from the belt and leaving the straps swinging loose from the belt rig.

The hanger is available in black.

In mid 1862 the Richmond Depot Type#1 was phased out for Type #2. The Type #2 jacket is often referred to as 'Mid War' and was issued mid 1862 through mid 1864. Distinguishing features of Type #2 are Epaulettes and Belt Loops. The Branch of Service colored trim has been dropped.

The Richmond Depot Shell Jacket features HAND STITCHED Epaulettes, Belt Loops, Button Holes, Front, Hem, Sleeve Hem, and Collar. It has a 6 piece body, 2 piece sleeves, and 9 Button Front of CSA Buttons. The bottom of the jacket front is square cut. The back hem of the jacket is straight across. The jacket is lined with cotton lining and has an inside pocket. NEW! This shell jacket is available in hand-dyed Navy Blue Jean Wool.

Richmond Depot Shell Jackets are often called Army of Northern Virginia Style as well.

The CS Enlisted Louisiana Frock Coat is made of high quality Gray Jean Wool trimmed with Black Tape. This coat features HAND STITCHED Button Holes, Hem, and Sleeve Hem. Epaulettes add to the distinctive look of this coat along with Black Worsted Tape Trim on the collar, cuffs, lapel, and skirt slit. The 9-button front uses large Louisiana brass buttons. The cuffs are straight with 3 buttons. The 2-Button back features a slit skirt. The coat is fully lined with a brown cotton lining. There is one interior pocket. This frock coat is available in Gray Jean Wool.

Dubbed the "Camp Moore" uniform, this Southern frock coat was widely used in the early years of the war.

The 9 button front uses plain dome buttons and features HAND STITCHED Button Holes. The front of the vest features 2 exterior fixed flap breast pockets and 1 flap pocket at the waist. All pockets are lined in red piping. The back is adjustable with a tie belt. The vest is lined and has no inside pockets.

The Spanish-American War Rough Riders slouch hat is a wide-brimmed hat. Each hat is hand-shaped and no two will be the same. Hand-punched vent holes providing a uniqueness to each hat. The brim can be shaped to the desire of the soldier. The slouch hat is correct for both US enlisted men and officers. Made famous by the 1st US Volunteer Cavalry and "Roosevelt's Roughriders" in 1898.

This Slouch Hat is made of top quality wool felt with a 3 1/2 inch wide brim. It has a sweatband. This hat is packable and water repellent. The hat color is available in almond.

This economical .58 caliber cartridge box made from tarred canvas can be used by CS riflemen. It is a replica of the 1855 .58 caliber pattern and includes tins. The outer body and flap are made from a doubled sewn layer of tarred canvas. The end panels are made of leather. Each inner flap and the tool pouch are made from a single layer of tarred canvas. The closure tabs are made of leather. The closure finial is brass. It has belt loops, per the original, on the back.

This replica Goulding Haversack has a single button flap with reinforced hand-stitching and comes with a small "poke" sack (not attached). This style of haversack was quartermaster-made and used by Confederates.

The quartermaster-made haversack comes from the Goulding family.  At least two Goulding brothers served in the Army of Northern
Virginia.  Both were from Darien, Georgia.  Francis R. Goulding served with the Jeff Davis Legion, Mississippi Cavalry, and ended the war in a hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina.  His brother, C.H. Goulding, served with the 8th Georgia Infantry.  C.H. Goulding died in General Hospital 21, Richmond, Virginia, December 24, 1862 of “remittent fever” (caused by gonorrhea).  The collection has a number of objects from the Goulding family, to include Francis’s vest fashioned from a Tait jacket.  The vest has strong provenance to Francis, but the haversack’s story is murkier, since family legend attributes it to C.H.  The connection with C.H. is tenuous, because it is unlikely that the hospital would have returned a haversack to the family in 1862, unless it contained other personal items.  Even then, sending this home would have been an extravagance that stretches plausibility.  It is more likely that the haversack belonged to Francis, and that he brought it home with his vest and other Confederate memorabilia.  This makes sense to me, because the haversack is clean and in good
condition.  It is likely that Francis got this fresh haversack while he was in the hospital in Charlotte, and the war ended before it saw any heavy field use.  In any case, the haversack is an amazing example of a cheap, simple, mass-produced Confederate haversack, typical
of what Southern soldiers received from the quartermaster. - Two Rebel Haversacks in the Florida Confederate Museum Collection,

Historical background: Formed as a segregated African-American unit, the 10th Cavalry was one of the original "Buffalo Soldier" regiments in the post–Civil War Regular Army. The insignia is hand made on a black field with gold emboidery.

This reproduction of a Mexican War soft single bag knapsack is appropriate for US troops. 

This knapsack is designed with a large compartment for storage and has a muslin divider. There are blanket roll straps on top for carrying a blanket or greatcoat. Leather chest cross straps are attached with J-hooks on the ends which are designed to attach to the waist belt to provide extra support. The knapsack is made from canvas that has been tar Line painted, similar to the originals, for waterproofing.

The knapsack comes complete with J-Hooks and blanket roll straps.

The C&C Sutlery 1830's - 1850's Era Mountain Man or Civilian Trouser is made of durable Cotton.  The trousers feature a Drop Front button fly and the adjustable "V" back on the waistband has a pull cord to allow for waist adjustment. There are darts on the back of each side that makes the trousers taper into the waistband. Fly buttons are flat brass. Inseam measurement is not needed as the trousers are unhemmed and can be either rolled up, cut off, or hemmed by the customer.

These trousers are worn higher than today's jeans. However, we are well fed and many of us have larger stomachs and our jeans are worn below the stomach. Order ONE size larger than your normal jean size. If you want an exceptional loose fit, order TWO sizes larger than your normal jean size.

The CS Naval Officer Double Breasted Frock Coat is made of 16 oz Steel Grey Wool and features an 18 Button Front of CS Navy Buttons with HAND STITCHED Button Holes. This frock is suitable for Undress Uniforms. The sleeves feature optional CS Navy Buttons or Gold Soutache Sleeve Braid and a 4 Button Functional Cuff. This Tapestry haversack Amish made in the USA.

Used mostly in the South. It features one wood button , Cotton liner and a button in liner.  Every haversack will have a different pattern then the next. No two alike..  A southern solider may have utilizes available material to make a haversack to keep his belongings in.  Also reported a soldiers family made and sent there love ones replacement haversack made from materials around there home.  This haversack was also used for civilians before and after the civil war.  These haversacks have been seen to have been made with wood, pewter and bone buttons and some versions seen had a leather strap.

 Two-piece brass button as worn on the uniforms of North Carolina Military Institute cadets at Charlotte, NC prior and during the Civil War. Face exhibits a large beehive centered on a lined field flanked with the letters "N" and "C". The words "MILITARY INSITITUE" edge the lower area of the button in a concave shape.
 Button size is Medium or 5/8".

US Marine Anson Mills Belt.

This two-piece buckle is solid pressed brass. It is replicated from an original, circa Feb.1.1881, with particular attention to detail.

This buckle is for use with the 1881 Anson Mills Belt (Prairie Belt). If purchased with the belt, we will install the buckle at no additional charge.

Durable cotton canvas suspenders a very important clothing accessory for holding up you trousers. Suspenders are simple individual strap style used by civilians. And were often made out of any available materials from the time.

The suspenders are 44" long and have two button holes for adjustment.  More button holes could be added for the use for children impressions.

The one piece Oval Belt Plate is solid Cast Brass with cast brass hooks on the back. It has three brass prong hooks for attaching to the belt.

It is an exact copy of originals, circa 1861 - 1865, with great attention to detail.

1850s-1864. Solid Brass Breast Plate.  Used Pre-Civil War for States Militia and Civil War South Carolina. Two loops are on the back to facilitate fastening the plate on to your cartridge box strap. This plate is supposed to be right in the center of your chest when mounted on the sling.  A copy of An originals.

M1800s Wheel Cap, used by both Civilians and Military. This Wheel Cap is made in Cotton canvas for both cap and band. The cap has a heavy leather brim, functional chin strap with brass side buttons, leather sweat band, and is lined.  Chin strap can be removed.

Other canvas colors can be requested in Black, Brown duck, Gray, red and Green.  Please not on your order if you want a different color ordered.  Also other button on Chin strap can be requested.

Marine Hat Insignia is appropriate for Marine enlisted troops. The insignia is made of chrome plated and has a wire back for attaching to the hat.

Heavy canvas Zouave Gaiters cover the leg and shoe lacing to protect the pants and legs from underbrush and moisture. The gaiters have 7 brass plain dome buttons and are available in sizes Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large.

Measure around the widest part of your calf to determine your size. Small fits 13", Medium fits 15 1/2", Large fits 17", and XL fits 19".
